[Sara fixes an eye on the camera. She's about 12/13, but an early bloomer, and she looks mad as hell.]
Wasn't once enough? I'm not gonna do this again. I'm not going to hold still for another two months so you can do whatever the fuck you want to me again. I'm not gonna let you, you can kill me first. Or I'll kill you.
[She sounds determined, but she doesn't actually know what happened to her the first time she was abducted, only that it hurt. She's actually kind of terrified that she might remember it this time around.]
And all these little kids? What the hell is wrong with you people? All this cozy babysitting shit doesn't change the fact that we're prisoners. Let them go.
Any of you lay a hand on any of them and I'm breaking it the fuck off.

[After pretty much trashing the room she woke up in, Sara's found two things of interest: an NYPD badge - not her dad's, the number's wrong - and a .357 revolver. She's not a great shot, but she knows her way around a gun, and she manages to get it loaded and tucked in the back of her jeans. One of the shirts she found in the closet, unbuttoned, more or less hides it from casual inspection.
You can find her prowling the halls, watching out for adult malfeasance and looking like she doesn't need much more than an excuse.]
[OOC: Multithreads much encouraged. Prior warning for the likelihood of violence; Sara is a fighty angry mess at this stage of her life and won't hesitate to pull a gun on an adult or anyone claiming to have a degree of control over the situation. I am fine with/kind of expect her ending up in Zero. PP or PM me for any plot queries!]

I meant with you. Not much I can do about the rest. [He has to think not to automatically glance at the crossbow, too, and he can't answer that question without lying or setting her off, so he deflects instead, glancing at her wrists for the bracelet.]
One thing at a time. This ain't even loaded - I'll put it down if you want.

Date: 2012-10-24 10:11 am (UTC)Instead she's just an angry, traumatized girl with a gun, which isn't ideal either.]
Yeah. You - yeah. Put it down on the floor and kick it away from you.

Can we talk now without the weapons?

You just need to get out of here. Get away from me. I told you, all of you, this won't happen again.

Okay, okay. But if I go, we're probably just gonna run into each other again. There's nowhere to go, for any of us.
[...again? Christ. Sara... He's sure of it, now, though he doesn't want to be.]
What are you looking for? Or who?

Date: 2012-10-25 01:26 pm (UTC)Sorry, darlin' - if I knew where it was, where that asshole was, I'd tell you, but no one does. Not anyone talking, anyway.
You tell me what's going on, maybe I can help you stop it.

Date: 2012-10-25 01:32 pm (UTC)[It's less like she pulls the trigger and more like she just feels the gun going off in her hands. The noise is huge, echoing in the long space of the hallway, and her ears ring.]

He jerks in reaction to the gun going off, throwing himself sideways; even so there's searing pain across the point of his shoulder and he swears as he fetches up against the wall, slapping a hand over the red-edged tear in his shirts.
He keeps his eyes on her through it, but he's still too far away to do much despite righting himself immediately.]
Goddammit, that - hey!
