I'm asking for the cleaning supplies cabinet to be locked. Just consider this a heads-up. I don't know if there's even been an issue with an Inmate getting in there and making homemade incendiaries but if there hasn't, well, I know I'll sleep better at night knowing it's less of an option.

Also, I'm visiting the firing range later and I'd be interested in a little friendly competition, if anyone's game.

Yeah. Ate at an exotic restaurant [because Narvin failed], went to the beach [because Narvin failed], saw some nice flowers [because Narvin failed... and Crane needed a present]. It was nice to take it easy. [Politics aside, he figures that Kirk's attack of the childish would have been more dangerous for everyone if people went after him.]

Yeah. Maybe it's not politic to say this, but I think I could stand to have someone else at the wheel more often.

Saw the sights, topped up my tan, checked out the nightlife. Standard tourist bullshit. [Also a hint of vigilantism.] Guess it's the last port I won't have to spend chasing after my Inmate, so I'm glad I went out.

But I got a lot of confidence there's always someone on board that can lend a hand when you need it. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you find yourself in a bind. Pulled me through a lot when I was wardening Cooper.

I mean, great, but this crowd struck me as a little 'your Inmate, your business'.

A lot of 'em are. But a lot of people won't turn you down if you ask for help, either. It's just a polite courtesy. The way I see it, we're all diplomatic liaisons and civil servants representing our inmate. There's not much harm in asking for a hand here and there.

[He's long gotten over his idea of unified warden structure (and being organizational at heart it makes him resent it a little), but he's still pretty sure people work well together when they need to and can look at it like inter-pairing policy.]
